Elliott & Anastacia

Anyone who knows me knows I have fallen madly in love with koalas since moving to Australia.  My number one koala is Elliott, my foster koala through the Australian Koala Foundation.

I went to visit Elliott one day at the Ballarat Wildlife Park and met his roommates at the time, Anastacia and Milton. This was a moment of bliss!!

I started drawing little pictures of Elliott and Anastacia together and now I am so excited to say they are making their debut appearance in a book.

The Sketchbook Project 2012

This is a little preview of my sketchbook.  I picked the theme "Life Underground".

I tried to paint things that came to mind when I thought of the "Underground" like Velvet Underground or The Weather Underground Organization.

I think the bootleggers of the underworld are my favorite.

My Sister is My Best Friend

My second undertaking with Guardian Angel Publishing came out when I was home in the States so I haven't had a chance to post about it until now but here it is!!

My Sister is My Best Friend is written by Nicole Weaver in not only English but French and Spanish too.

The only bummer is my old website which I, in all of my brilliance, deleted is still listed in my bio.  I didn't see the mistake in time to fix it so anyone who might go look for the website will get nothing but not much I can do about it now.

Anyhoo, I am very excited to have another completed book on the shelves!!

The Moustache Man

A little ditty for my friend, Joe's birthday present. Of course by the time I had finished the drawing he had shaved off his moustache.
